Colin G. Miller

Miller is a seasoned software development professional with more than 20 years in the high-tech industry. He is currently an associate with KEMA, Inc and volunteering in the not-for-profit sector. He is the Emeritus VP of Membership with SPM and still serves as a volunteer.

He has led product development teams and promoted customer advocacy at several companies. Most recently, he was director of customer satisfaction at Epicentric Inc., the pioneering portal company, now Vignette. Prior to that, he led Engineering Project Management at Lucent Technologies, where he was instrumental in implementing formal product development life cycles. While at Lucent's Octel Messaging Division, he was responsible for the release of IMA 1.0 for the service provider group, as well as several other products. Previously he held several positions in software development and Quality Assurance at ABB. Prior to this was a software developer with Scicon, Ltd. a software services company in London, UK now a division of EDS.

Miller graduated from the University of Edinburgh with honors in computer science.
